Julius Wayne had a successful basketball career in college and on the professional level. He attended The University of Texas El Paso from 1979 to 1981 where he played for Coach Don Haskins (Glory Road) NCAA champions and Hall of Fame Basketball Coach. Julius was drafted by the Portland Trailblazers. His basketball career took him overseas for 8 years in the Philippine Islands, Mexico, Greece, and Israel. During time playing overseas he hosted several basketball camps and private tutoring clinics. He coached four years of varsity basketball in Gardena, California upon his return from overseas. Julius taught physical education & coached the middle school basketball team at a private academy as well as coached a competitive traveling basketball team. His passion is coaching, sports and mentoring kids.
